Walking Trails
Park Peres comprises 3 walking trails:
• The Little Prince Trail – a short trail measuring 700 meters in length.
• The Fisherman and the Goldfish Trail – a medium-length trail, measuring 1,340 meters in length.
• The Gold Heart Flower Trail – a long trail measuring 1,700 meters in length.
The three trails traverse throughout the entire Park, allowing those who march on them to select the track that suits them at their own pleasure. Branded signage has been installed along the three trails, directing the marchers, updating them with regard to the distance they have already walked, the distance that still remains and providing advice and recommendations regarding a variety of health tips that must be kept in mind during the march, such as – stretching, drinking water and the like.
There is no argument about the advantages of walking and marching yet the location where these walks and marches are carried out is of great importance. Walking trails in large parks or in nature constitute a wonderful way to reduce the damages caused by the air pollution encountered in large quantities in pavements or nearby busy roads. Walking along dedicated trails in a park enables us to enjoy a walk in the bosom of nature without having to start our cars in order to reach green areas in nature.
Walking trails in parks are a great way to improve our physical health. We invite you to enjoy walking and training in the walking trails of Park Peres.
